The
surroundings
Soutullo
Manor House, a small charming family
House in an XVIII Century building, is
situated 5 minutes (6 Km) from the old
town of Ourense along one of the important
Jacobean Pilgrim ways to Santiago, near
the Cistercian Monastery of Oseira where
the writer Graham Green used to rest
every summer. It is set in a medieval
village, surrounded by a 20.000 m² country
estate and conserves many original architectural
features from its noble past.

La finca y la aldea
La
Casa está rodeada de
una finca, cruzada por un riachuelo
de especies protegidas, detrás
del crucero. Hay jardín,
huerta, árboles frutales,
flores y un robledal. Bajo un alpendre,
al lado de los hórreos,
hay aparcamiento. Al fondo, una
piscina familiar para el verano
y una pista de tenis.
Las cuatro
casas que componen la aldea se
apiñan alrededor
de una antigua plaza medieval con
losas de piedra originales y donde
estaba el horno de pan. En otra
entrada, aún se puede apreciar
la antigua capilla de la Casa dedicada
a Santa Bárbara.
The
estate and the village
The house overlooks its own large
estate, with protected species
of trees and bushes on the banks
of the small stream behind the
stone cross. The land is largely
rough pasture, with a vegetable
garden, grass, trees and a small
oak wood. Undercover, next to the
Granary barns, you have a parking
area. Among the fruit trees there
is a swimming pool for summer use
and a tennis court.
The four houses which make up the
village are situated around a medieval
square where the visitor can see
the old stables of the House and
the old chapel dedicated to St Barbara.
